The tradition of "Törggelen" has been passed on till nowadays. After a pleasant
walk through the sunny autumnal landscape, people stop in one of the typical local inns to sample
the new wine and enjoy delicious local specialities like smoked meat with Sauerkraut, Knödel
(dumplings), homemade sausages, speck (smoked ham) as well as roasted chestnuts and Krapfen (sweet crullers). |
