We spend 3 nights in June 2025. Hotel is bigger than it looks in the pictures, and looks amazing. We stayed in the new rooms (Erica), because I read some bad reviews for the smaller rooms (Erica is huge!). You have a parking garage on -2 level, with assigned places for each room. Food is very tasty and the best part for us - we could go to dinner at 8PM (given that you want to walk around the mountains as much as possible in the nice weather)read more

Great place with amazing view and very nice people. The common areas are well kept and offer a diversity of options for kids and adults. The lamas are a must especially for kids. Hope to return soon.

Hotel Torgglerhof – Sotuh Tyrol / Brixen

Hotel Torgglerhof, nestled in the gently rolling highlands of the Eisack Valley and situated near the bishopric of Brixen and right at the foot of the Plose skiing and hiking area, is ready with interesting stories about “winemaking”, “pressing” (“torggeln” in the local German dialect), and the “good old days”. South Tyrolean wine was pressed (“torggeln”) until just a few decades ago, and no one knows better than senior partner Hans what strenuous work this was.

A few decades ago there was still a small farmyard at the present hotel, which was referred to as Torgglhäusl, Lex or Roder. A wagon-maker, who occasionally performed his work on the “Stör”, worked here until about 30 years ago.

Today wine is no longer pressed at the Hotel Torgglerhof in Karnol/St. Andrä, making it even easier for you and your loved ones to enjoy a carefree, tailor-made vacation. Where else can you enjoy excellent three-star comfort with an authentic South Tyrolean farmhouse feeling in the heart of South Tyrol? The Kerer family welcomes you home with a heartfelt “Grüß Gott”.

Isn’t that glorious! Whenever you are there, you can refresh yourself in our panoramic indoor pool. Make a few laps in the large pool with countercurrent system to relax. When you visit our wellness hotel at Brixen, you will keep your body smoothly while swimming. In the water you will find the perfect balance for all activities outside in the nature of South Tyrol. On the sun loungers, you can enjoy a great panorama view over Brixen and the Eisack valley through the wide window front. Our panoramic indoor pool, by the way, has a constant water temperature of 30°C every season, the connected whirlpool is even a bit warmer.
Absolutely use also our Outdoor-Infinity-Attraction pool with the southlook whose salty source water has a likeable temperature of 32°C all year round. It offers many atractions such as a water geyser on the ground, two massage towers, a sparkling bench, a massage lounger and a neck shower. Here, our guests can enjoy an uninterrupted swimming sessions in peace.

Do you have some things to do during your holiday in Plose? Our wellness area also includes a fitness room, with equipment from Vision Fitness, where you can quickly get fit. Many of our guests use this training facility to keep their normal fitness level from home even in the wellness holiday – or to catch up during the holidays, what everyday life has prevented them to do so far. Popular sporting events in our region – such as the Dolomites Marathon or the Sigma-sponsered Mountain bike stage race – require the utmost in strength and fitness. We guarantee wellness fun for the entire family! Our sauna area is accessible to guests who are 16 years or older, but that does not mean that as a family with children you have to do without the sauna. Our non-nude sauna invites young and old to sweat, without age limit. Enjoy great water fun in our spacious indoor and outdoor pools, which can be used by our little guests until 4.30 p.m. Afterwards, it is reserved for adults aged 14 and over. And of course, we also have a pool for our little guests: Our children's pool is separated from the large pool area but still in the immediate vicinity. And if the children get tired of wellness, they will find our playrooms with games and fun for all ages right next to the wellness area. Nothing stands in the way of your perfect family vacation!
