As a panorama hotel on Mount Plose, we not only offer comfortable accommodation in a particularly popular holiday region – we are also aware of our responsibility towards the nature that surrounds us. During your stay with us, you will see for yourself how important it is to us to use natural resources in a respectful, ecologically sound manner.
Environment-friendly - From A to Z
Starting with 'Recycling'. Wherever possible, we do not use plastic in our house. When building the apartment house 'Fuchsmauer', we wanted to assure energy efficiency and opted for a climate house A with living space ventilation. In our new house extension, wood was used as a renewable, natural raw material. We're heating with pellets and solar collectors. Our spring water flows from our taps, the wells and also in the swimming pools. In order to work as emission-free as possible and to avoid long journeys, our laundry is not washed outside, but in the hotel's own laundry room.
Firmly rooted in our region
In the management of our hotel, we also pay great attention to regionality. Because our roots are here in the Isarco Valley. We are proud of that, which is why we maintain traditions and prefer cooperation with local businesses and institutions. Therefore, for our regional cuisine we only use local suppliers. Restricting unnecessary road traffic also plays a role here. For example, what about a car-free vacation? With the BrixenCard – which you'll receive free of charge – you may use the public transport network for free.
Naturally in touch with nature
To be honest, it is not difficult for us to choose sustainability. We are surrounded by beautiful nature with fragrant forests, lush meadows, and a fantastic view of the surrounding mountain ranges. We have a garden with aromatic herbs and flowers at the house. Furthermore, there is our small farm and the alpine hut – all good reasons to act with care and a sense of proportion.
